"WHERE CREATIVITY PROVIDES A FUN PLACE FOR ALL AGES TO EXCERCISE THEIR MINDS AND LEAVE THE MESS BEHIND"
The art gym concept is modeled after a regular gym, providing space, various kinds of equipment, classes, and private studio space to create the projects you want to finish, start or to try something new. There is a locker system in place for those wishing to store their projects in a safe environment. Workshops, seminars and classes are taught by local and regional artists and crafters who want to share what they have with those who want to learn.
The Steamboat Arts & Crafts Gym offers classes and instruction to community members, vistors and the outlying area. The Steamboat Arts & Crafts Gym is able to offer the community a significant variety of programs, weekend workshops and even unique projects encompassing seasonal arts and crafts. Classes are taught on a calendar month-to-month basis. Class schedules are provided as inserts to local ublications and to our brochrues. Class schedules are also available on our website www.steamboatartsandcraftsgym.com and you can register and pay for classes online at www.mountainlearningnetwork.org.
Our membership program offers daily, monthly, 2-month, 3-month and 10 day punch cards. The class/seminar system enables individuals to take a class with supplies available on site. A fee for classes, with an additional fee for materials, is charged. Our locker system approach is unique to this venue. A locker can be purchased with monthy, 2-month, 3-month and 10 day punch card memberships. You can purchase double or single lockers. Each locker comes with its own key.
We offer three individual studio spaces available at a monthly rental fee for those wishing their very own space. Each private studio has its own locking system.
Classes include but are not limited to:
Creative Writing/Journaling,Scrapbooking, Photography, Jewelry, Calligraphy, Origami, Pottery, Water color, acrylics, oils and pastels, Creating Your Own Greeting Cards, Seasonal craft projects, Woodworking , Stained Glass and Fused Glass, Needlepoint/Cross Stitch, Quilting/Sewing and MUCH MORE!!
Th Steamboat Arts & Crafts Gym has created space for people who want to touch the inner artist that exists in every one of us. A place for people to develop new friendships, feel good about who they are and what they have learned, and most importantly to have FUN!

We are involved with forces and energies larger than our own.
